SHAFAQNA (International Shia News Association) Los Angeles police are hunting for a gunman after three people were shot Wednesday in the western part of the city, MyFoxLA.com reported.
The report said the gunman, identified as a Hispanic male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, was seen in the neighborhood chasing one of the victims. The three victims were transported to a nearby hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.
CBS Los Angeles reported that Hamilton High School was on lockdown during the police search.
The first 911 call came in at around 9 a.m., reporting that a man was “chasing three victims through the neighborhood,” a police officer told The Los Angeles Times. The shooting occurred in the 3100 block of Helms Avenue in the Mid-City area, the report said.
