Abdullah al-Saleh: Bahrain Inseparable Part of Shia History

SHAFAQNA- A Bahraini cleric underlined that Bahrain has always been a center of love and devotion for the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

Abdullah al-Saleh, whose Bahraini citizenship has been revoked by the Al Khalifa regime made the remark in a forum on the situation in Bahrain.
The forum was held at the 21st International Press and News Agencies Exhibition in Tehran.
Saleh said that oppressive rulers have been trying for centuries to eliminate the love for Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in Bahrain, but it will not happen.
He underscored that Bahrain is an inseparable part of Shia history.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Saleh referred to the uprising of the Bahraini people against the Al Khalifa regime, saying that people will not retreat from their demands.
The Shia and Sunni people of Bahrain have been calling for freedom and establishment of a just government for years, he noted.
Bahrain, a close ally of the US in the Persian Gulf region, has been witnessing almost daily protests against the ruling Al Khalifa dynasty since mid-February 2011, with Manama using heavy-handed measures in an attempt to crush the demonstrations.
Scores of Bahrainis have been killed and hundreds of others injured and arrested in the ongoing crackdown on the peaceful demonstrations.
