Ahlul Bayt Quranic encyclopedia published in Karbala

SHAFAQNA - 21 volumes of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Quranic Encyclopedia have been published in the holy city of Karbala in Iraq.

According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, the 21 volumes form the first part of the grand work.

Seyed Murtaza Jamaleddin, the head of the Astan’s Quranic Studies Department, said it took scholars four years to compile the encyclopedia.

He said the Warith Publications, affiliated to the Astan has printed the work.

According to Jamaleddin, the second part of the encyclopedia will include 10 volumes.

Compilation of the second part will conclude by the end of the current year, he further said.

Jamaleddin noted that the Iranian National Library is cooperating in preparing the second part.

The Astan’s Quranic Studies Department has also published a Quranic book titled “Tilk al-Rusul” in the holy city of Qom.
