Allah (SWT) and the prophet (PBUH) like generosity

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated that a group of people from Yemen came to see the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). One of them was a man who was a good speaker but talkative and used to exaggerate a lot in a way that made the Prophet (PBUH) uneasy and his face’s colour changed. At that time Jabrail (AS) came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said: Allah (SWT) greeted you and said: This man is generous and provides for other people.

The Prophet (PBUH) calmed down and raised his head and told that man: If you were not generous I would have driven you from myself to teach others. That man asked: Does your God like generosity? The Prophet (PBUH) replied: Yes. That man converted to Islam by reciting Shahadatayn and stressed that I have never deprived anyone from my wealth [1].
