Arbaeen from Quran and hadiths point of view discussed in Kabul

According to Kabul.icro, Al-Mustafa International University organized the forum attended by scholars, intellectuals and students of Kabul seminary schools.

Deputy of Iranian Cultural Center in Kabul was also present at the program.

Addressing the forum, Ayatollah Salehi stressed the importance of Ghadir and Ashura in the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and the necessity to commemorate the two occasions based on Nabawi Hadiths.

Arbaeen (the 40th day after the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), his household and companions in Ashura) was commemorated in Afghanistan as well as different parts of the world.

A special bulletin was published on the occasion in Kabul including articles titled “Arbaeen in the words of Imam Khamenei”, “research in Husseini Arbaeen” and “Arbaeen in view of Quranic verses and Hadiths”.

Among the Arbaeen programs in Afghanistan was a street photo exhibition titled “Ashura, manifestation of sacrifice and martyrdom and the symbol of unity of the Muslim Ummah” and a national forum to honor Imam Hussein’s (AS) servants held on December 12.

A mourning ceremony on Arbaeen was also held for a number of Afghan university and school students on December 13.

Serat-e Noor Cultural Center in Afghanistan organized the program, in which the importance of education and training based on Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) teachings was highlighted.
