Armenians celebrated Christmas in Bethlehem

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Majority of Christians celebrate Christmas on December 25, based on the Gregorian calendar and some Orthodox Christians commemorate the birth of Jesus on January 7. Some of the Armenian churches celebrate on January 19, the last of the Eastern Churches to celebrate the event.

The Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem led ceremonies in the Church of the Nativity, believed to be the birthplace of Jesus.
