Ayat. Sistani’s representative: Arbaeen pilgrimage, opportunity to solve Muslim issues

SHAFAQNA – “Arbaeen pilgrimage is an outstanding and unique religious ceremony in the world. That’s due to the fact that millions of pilgrims and Ahlul Bayt lovers attend the ceremony and the number is increasing year by year,” said Hujjat al-Islam Kashmiri in London.

Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s representative in Europe, Hujjat al-Islam Kashmiri, during his speech in London Islamic Center, proposed to the custodians of Imam Hussain (as) and Al Abbas Holy Shrine (as) to organize a global conference on Arbaeen Day in which prominent Islamic figures from Asia, Europe and America could take part in order to establish ties among different nations and promote the peaceful lessons of Islam.

During his speech in London on Monday, Hujjat al-Islam Kashmiri addressed several Muslim figures in the UK saying, “Arbaeen pilgrimage is an outstanding and unique religious ceremony in the world. That’s due to the fact that millions of pilgrims and Ahlul Bayt lovers attend the ceremony and the number is increasing year by year.”

“The services offered to these huge mass of pilgrims and the diversity of nationalities who participate in Arbaeen gathering is reaching new boundaries every year.”

The representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani further added, “This religious ceremony provides a chance for prominent scientists, scholars, writers, clerics and politicians from different parts of the world to gather in Karbala; we must make the most out of such great opportunity to discuss present issues in Islamic world and beyond in order to come up with practical solutions.”
