SHAFAQNA – As the Bahraini Authority goes on to implement the outcomes of the National Consensus Dialogue, it has not showed any indications to improve the human rights situation throughout the third quarter of 2014. Between July and September 2014, the Authorities filed 2 lawsuits to suspend the activity of the 2 most prominent opposition societies coalition (Al Wefaq National Islamic Society and the National Democratic Action Society). This was just days after Sheikh Ali Salman, the Secretary-General and Khalil Almarzooq, assistant secretary of Al Wefaq were summoned in relation with their meeting with Tom Malinowski, US Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, on July 9, 2014
