Bus collision with oil tanker kills 59 in Pakistan

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Pakistani Police and hospital officials said at least 59 people died after a bus collided with an oil tanker on a road in southern Pakistan early Sunday (11 Jan.).

The accident took place just outside Karachi in Sindh province.

“The accident took place on a single-track road connecting to the main highway,” said Rao Anwar, a senior police official. “It appears to have happened due to a combination of rash driving and poor road conditions.”
