SHAFAQNA – Report said ” Net migration to the UK has risen by nearly 300,000 in the year ending September 2014. The figures are a source of embarrassment for Prime Minister David Cameron, who had pledged to bring immigration down to “tens of thousands.” The latest figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show net long-term immigration was up from 120,000 in the year ending September 2013 to 298,000 in 2014, a leap which they describe as “statistically significant.”
