How can the most fearful day be described?

SHAFAQNA – Imam Ali (AS) said: If you knew what I know, you would have gone towards deserts and cried at your deeds, and you would beat your faces and would have left your wealth and possessions without guards or any successors [1]. It is narrated from Imam Hussain (AS) who said: I have not seen a time when I attended my father’s presence to find him not crying (for fear of the Day of Judgment) [2]. After the passing away of Imam Sajjad (AS), the narrator of this Hadith went to see Imam’s helper and said: Describe Imam Sajjad (AS) to me. The helper asked: in detail or briefly? The narrator said: Briefly. The helper said: There was not a night that I laid his bed and there was not a day when I could bring him food; meaning, Imam (AS) was performing Salaat during nights, and was fasting during days. The late Allamah Shoshtari said: With this sense of security that we feel from Divine Punishment, either we are making mistakes or the infallibles [3].
