China to invest $46 billion in Pakistan

SHAFAQNA -According to Chinese and Pakistani official media, Chinese President arrived in Islamabad on Monday (20 Apr.) for his first state visit to Pakistan. China’s president is scheduled to launch 46 billion dollars worth of investments in energy and infrastructure on his visit to Pakistan.

According to Xinhua, the visit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties and advancing the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a planned network of roads, railways and energy projects linking Pakistan’s deepwater Gwadar Port with China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
