What are the consequences of failing to enjoin good and forbid bad in societies?

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from Imam Ridha/Reza (AS) who said: Every one of you must enjoin good (M’aruf) and forbid bad/evil (Monkar); otherwise the wicked individuals will dominate you, and any requests (in Duas) and curses by your good people will not be accepted/answered (by God) [1].
