SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei answered questions about recognizing doubtfulness.
Question: What is the basis for recognizing doubtfulness (Kathiro Shakk); and if a person doubts for three consecutive times in a few Salaats, is he/she to be considered as suffering from doubtfulness?
The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei: The criterion is based on true convention, and it is not improbable that the person who doubts three times in a Salaat or in three consecutive Salaats is suffering from doubtfulness, of course on the condition that the source of doubt is not anger, fear, or anxiety.
