Curing the blind by Imam Jawad (AS)

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from Mohammad ibn Maymoon who said: Before Imam Reza (AS) going to Khorasan, I was with him in Mecca, and I told him: I want to go to Medina, write a letter so that I can deliver it to your son, (Imam) Jawad (AS). Imam Reza (AS) smiled and wrote a letter. I took the letter and departed towards Medina. At that time I lost sight in my eyes. When I reached Medina, I went to see (Imam) Jawad (AS), his housekeeper brought him from his bed and I gave the letter to him. Imam Jawad (AS) told Mowaffaq (his housekeeper) to open the letter and the letter was opened and put in front of him. Imam Jawad (AS) looked in it and told me: O’ Mohammad, how are your eyes? I replied: O’ the son of the Prophet of Allah (SWT), I have lost sight in my eyes. Then, Imam Jawad (AS) rubbed his blessed hand on my eyes, and the light and sight came back to my eyes and I was fully cured. Then I kissed his blessed hands and feet and left whilst I could see everything perfectly [1].
