Daesh says it wants to assassinate Indian Premiere and FM

SHAFAQNA –  Indian officials have confirmed this Wednesday that an anonymous letter purportedly signed by Daesh terrorist group threatened the life of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar.

Goa Police has circulated the letter to all police stations in the state and handed over the case to the Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS).

“All the agencies of state police are investigating this letter. We will soon be able to find the source of it,” a police official said.

“ISIL [Daesh] was written at the bottom of the postcard,” the official confirmed.

The letter has expressed anger over ban on cow slaughter in the country.
