Do not mix the truth with falsehood

SHAFAQNA – Hayye ibn Akhtab and ka’ab ibn Ashraf were two of the Jewish grandees at the time of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). Every year, the Jewish people used to arrange big ceremonies and invite them with lots of respect. When the Prophet (PBUH) invited all the people to Islam, these two were frightened to lose their position and wealth, hence they tampered with the verses of Torah about the Prophet of Islam (PBUH).

At this time, Allah (SWT) in Ayahs 41 and 42 addressed them and all those who denied the truth about the Prophet (PBUH), saying: “Believe in what God reveal, confirming the revelations which are in your books. And be not the first to reject faith, nor sell God’s signs for a small price; and fear God and God alone” [1].
