SHAFAQNA – We have no excuse for not reforming ourselves, in any condition that we are; Ahlul Bait (AS) will accept us and will give us whatever we want. Some have called the Month of Sha’aban as special Eid, mainly because it is the month of the Prophet (PBUH). Salawat-e-Sha’abaniyeh is recited every day in the Month of Sha’aban, in whatever condition we are in, the Ahlul Bait (AS) will accept us, their generosity is limitless and this month is the month of requesting. In Indazawal (noon) Dua, Imam Sajjad (AS) says: “O’ God, for the sake of the Prophet (PBUH) who Ali (AS) is one of those whom he has nurtured and trained, allocate an open and extensive way for me.” We can ask this every day from the Prophet (PBUH) until it leads us to the blessed Month of Ramadhan. The point is that, the same Prophet (PBUH) guided idol worshippers to such lofty positions that they became individuals like Salman (RA) and Abu Dhar (RA) and Meqdad (RA); therefore, we can be like them and reach to such positions, this is possible [1].
