SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei answered a question about the doubt of pregnant woman if fasting his harmful to the foetus.

Question: Is fasting Wajeb for a pregnant woman who does not know if fasting is harmful to her foetus or not?

The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei: If as a result of fasting, she is worried about the foetus and her fear is based on logical source, Iftar is Wajeb for her, otherwise it is Wajeb for her to fast.
