Eating fruits from neighbour’s tree / the Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s answers

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered questions about neighbour’s tree.

Question: If the branches of neighbour’s fruit tree which have fallen to our yard from over the wall; is eating the fruits of that tree Halal or not?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: Must be with owner’s permission.

Question: A person has planted a tree at top of his land and the roots of that tree reach another person’s land and from them new tree grows; who is the owner this (new) tree?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: It belongs to the owner of the (original) tree.
