Fasting in hot days

SHAFAQNA – Imam Sadeq (AS) said: Whoever fasts in hot days for the sake of the Almighty and feels thirsty, Allah (SWT) will appoint 1000 angels to rub his face gently and give him the glad tidings (of this world and the hereafter). At the time of Iftar (breaking fast), God will say: What a nice smell you have and what a clean soul you have. Then Allah (SWT) will say: O’ my angels, witness that I have forgiven him [1, 2].
