SHAFAQNA- France has strongly condemned the Zionist regime’s plan to construct 2,610 illegal settler units in East al-Quds.

He added, “This announcement directly threatens the two-state solution at a time when all efforts should be focused on peace.”

Israeli activist group Peace Now said Zionist regime plans to build over 2,000 new illegal settler homes in the Givat Hamatos area of East al-Quds, describing the project as destructive to the Palestinian-Israeli talks.

US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters in Washington on Wednesday that the Zionist regime’s move would send a “troubling message”.
