SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered questions about Muharram.

Question: Is it allowed to cry loud and beat/hit on the head and face in mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussain (AS)?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: There is no problem

Question: Is it allowed for groups of mourners of Imam Hussain (AS) to move with speed when they are walking in the streets or not?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: There is no problem within its limit.

Question: Is it possible to delay Salaat for the sake of mourning for Imam Hussain (AS)?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: It is appropriate to perform Salaat on time; and it is appropriate that the ceremonies are planned in a way, so there are no obstacles in the times of Salaat.
