Narrated Muhammad bin Saeed, from al-Qasim bin Urwah, from Ubaid bin Zurarah, from his father, from Abi Jafar Imam Baqir (as) who said:
“The one who sits in a sitting (gathering) in which an Imam (as) from the Imam’s (as) is insulted and he has the ability to change that but does not do so, Allah (swt) will clothe him with disgrace in this world and punish him in the hereafter and will take away the benefit which he has from our Maarifah (understanding).”
