SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei answered a question about friendship with an androgynous person.
Question: I just realized that one of my friends is androgynous. Please explain the ruling from the point view of religion and common law about being friend with this person.
The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei: If it is certain the person is androgynous, there is no problem with communicating and socializing with the person, but whatever is Haram when man is socializing with woman and woman with man, such as touching and Haram look must be avoided.
