Human’s attributes according to Quran

SHARE

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Two different kinds of attributes have been mentioned for human beings in the holy Quran. One group of positive and another group of negative attributes have been mentioned. There are human beings with inferior attributes, as mentioned in Ayah 2 of Surah Al-Asr; human being is at a loss. Ayah 72 of Surah Al-Ahzab said: Human being has been unfair to himself, ignorant. Ayah 54 of Surah Al-Kahf mentions that human being is argumentative in most cases and Ayahs 6-7 of Surah Al-Alaq said: Human acts so arrogant and considers himself self-sufficient whilst Ayah 28 of Surah Al-Nesa said: Human being was created weak. These are negative attributes and they are mentioned in the holy Quran. Now, the question is, how can this human being with all these negative attributes be made into a devout servant of God where Ayah 119 of Surah Al-Ma’edah says; God approves of them and they are satisfied with God, and Ayah 155 of Surah Al-Baqarah called them patient? The only way of prosperity for human being is the way of the divine prophets and revelation.
