SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – International conference on impacts of financial and economic sanctions on human rights will be held in Tehran on December 15-16, secretariat of the confab said on Sunday.
Some 18 permanent and independent human rights experts from OIC are to attend the international event.
Deputy Foreign Minister for Human Rights and Women issues Mostafa Alaee told reporters that experts from OIC, France, Sudan, UNHCR, and UN will attend the international conference.
OIC has formed permanent and independent commission on human rights in the year 2011 to foster international cooperation on human rights issues, he said.
Meanwhile, Vice-President for Legal Affairs Elham Aminzadeh and Head of Human Rights Commission of the Judiciary Mohammad Javad Larijani are to deliver speeches to the opening ceremony.
