SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Iran will keep on enriching uranium for its nuclear program within framework of related international rules and regulations, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a meeting with visiting Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
The Iranian top diplomat evaluated the Tehran-Hanoi relations as good and positive and expressed hope that they will keep on developing in all possible fields, especially in the economic sphere.
Zarif said that the two countries’ cooperation within the framework of the South-South Cooperation, too, needs to develop comprehensively.
The foreign minister, meanwhile, emphasized the need for exchanging information and experience between the two countries, reiterating that there are very appropriate fields for the development of cooperation, which is in need of more visits, especially at the level of the two countries’ private sector activists.
The Vietnamese deputy prime minister, too, expressing delight for having the chance to visit Iran voiced Hanoi’s full support for Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
“We also believe Iran plays an outstanding role in the establishment of peace and stability in the sensitive Middle East region,” added Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
The top Vietnamese official also welcomed Zarif’s proposal for increasing the level of bilateral cooperation, especially in economic field and the transfer of technology, stressing that the two countries’ foreign ministers should pursue the matter.
