SHAFAQNA– New York – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Malaysian counterpart Anifah Aman calld for enhancing bilateral relations in political, economic, scientific, and technological fields.
The two foreign ministers met in New York on Thursday afternoon (local time) on the sidelines of UN General Assembly annual meetings and discussed regional and international developments. They called for strengthening international cooperation and increasing consultations to find appropriate ways to enhance bilateral relations.
Zarif referred to the long record of the relations between the two countries and called for strengthening them.
Malaysian foreign minister, for his part, referred to common interests and concerns and said planning for regular meetings and more consultations are important factors to help use capacities of the two countries.
