Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi underlined that security in the Persian Gulf can only be established by the regional countries, and deployment of the US forces in the region has provoked insecurity.
In an interview to Fars news agency he said that it is the utmost priority of Revolutionary guards to oust US from Persian gulf water. He claimed that Iran military can destroy US fleet within 50 seconds. Responding to a question he said that if US marines can move in international waters, we also reserve the right to keep watch on them. Ali Fadavi said that they are monitoring US marines activities vigilantly.
