SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association)- There is hardly any problem in the Middle East that can be resolved without Iran, the Berlin-based daily Tageszeitung (taz) said Saturday.
There is no doubt that Iran, as a regional power, has great influence in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon and therefore has to be included in any multilaterally coordinated activities, especially when it comes to the fight against Daesh, the paper reiterated.
The more the situation gets confusing in the Middle East and the more Daesh advances in the region, the more one understands that there is hardly any solution without Iran.
It pointed out the US regime change and sanction policy in Iran turned out to be an utter failure.
The US has now finally grasped Iran is needed to help stabilize the region, especially because of Daesh’s devastating threat to the Middle East.
The daily referred to many indications that the American government prefers to regard Iran as an ally rather than an enemy.
