Iraq to set up Interim Consulate in Ilam province for Arbaeen Pilgrimage

SHAFAQNA – Director General of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Ilam province Mehdi Heidari said an Interim Consulate of Iraq will be set up in Ilam province for Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

“In this regard, eight provincial tourism and pilgrimage offices also issue visas during the Arbaeen, with six offices in Ilam, one office in Mehran and one office in Dehloran,” he noted.

Heydari emphasized that visa-issuing operations will begin on September 24 this year in four provinces of Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, Khuzestan and Kermanshah, which have a permanent Consulate.

According to the Arbaeen Committee, in addition to permanent Consulates, 12 other offices are active throughout the country for visa issuance.
