SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Iraqi President Foad Masoum who arrived in Riyadh last night heading a high level delegation told the Alsharqal awsat reporter inside the plane that his trip to Saudi Arabia in the current conditions especially after the formation of the new government in Baghdad is very important. He added: We are hopeful of this meeting particularly when all political and religious sides in Iraq support it and the scholars in Najaf Ashraf also agree the importance of having relation with countries of the Persian Gulf. On Tuesday and prior to his trip to Saudi Arabia, the Iraqi President met with the Grand Ayatollah Sistani in Najaf and held discussions.
