Is self-assessment really important?

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from Imam Sajjad (AS) who said: O’ the child of Adam (AS), you will always be blessed and remain magnanimous, as long as you have an (honest) advisor inside you, and self-assessment is one of your important tasks, and fear of the consequence of deeds remains your priority [1]. This means we need to pay full attention to our own life and our everyday deeds, and try to correct our own faults rather than spend time finding faults with others.
