SHAFAQNA – According to the Quran, the Quranic revelations have various characteristics and two of those special ones are mentioned here.
1. The Quran is a weighty Message; this is mentioned in Ayah 5 of Surah Al-Mozzammel: “By way of revelation God will send down to thee weighty (Divine) Message/Words (the Quran).”
2. The Quran is easily understood; this is mentioned in Ayah 17 of Surah Al-Qamar: “And God has indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember, is there any that will listen and pay attention?”
The Quran is weighty because its content is full of Divine Wisdom and is a source of deep knowledge where a human being is not able to fully comprehend all its elegant meanings and messages. At the same time, the same Quran is expressed in a way that any one can easily understand it according to his/her own level of knowledge. Therefore, the Quran is not difficult to understand.
