Japanese Shia Muslims presence at Imam Reza holy shrine in Mashhad

SHAFAQNA – Mourning ceremony for Imam Hussein (A’) at the Razavi Holy Shrine had a different feeling with presence of a number of devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) from Japan.

Razavi Holy Shrine was the host of a group of Japanese Shi’as who had come to the Holy Shrine for expressing condolences to the presence of Imam Reza (A’) and visiting his holiness.

Noting that he is visiting the Holy Shrine for the fifth time, manager of the Japanese caravan said, “Iranian mourning ritual is different and people of this country hold mourning ceremonies very passionately that indicates the special devotion of Iranians toward the Ahl al-Bayt (A).”

“As a lover of the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.), I do my best to lead my life based on the conduct of the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) and I ask them to grant us the real understanding and insight about Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.)”, Ali Suzuki said.

“We Muslims should try to implement the Razavi conduct in our life so that upon entering the Holy Shrine, we could perform an insightful pilgrimage”, he remarked.

“We launched a Husseiniyeh in Tokyo called ‘Muhammad (S.A.W.), Al-e Muhammad (S.A.W.) (descendants of Muhammad)’ and many devotees from different countries such as Lebanon, Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan gather in this center to show their devotion to Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.)”, he said.

“Besides helping to the solidarity among Muslims, the center provides for our further sympathy and consultation against the enemies’ cultural attack”, said the Japanese pilgrim.

Regarding the museums of Astan Quds Razavi he remarked, “Museums of Astan Quds Razavi are precious and inspiring treasuries that may make people ponder for hours.”

“All dark points of the history can be cleared up through walking in this place, revealing an amazing world of realities”, he continued.

Presenting his pilgrimage to all devotees of Imam Reza (A.S.) all over the world, he added, “Imam Reza (A.S.) is the master of all Shi’ite of the world and we are always favored by his graces.”

After holding mourning ceremony and elegizing in the Holy Shrine, the Japanese group paid a visit to the central museum and the Center of Conferences and Exhibitions of Astan Quds Razavi followed by being entertained in the Imam Reza (A.S.) banquet house.
