Lady Fatima’s complaint to God on the Day of Resurrection…

On the occasion of the martyrdom’s anniversary of Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her): Her complaint to God on the Day of Resurrection…

Four women could measure up to the high standards of true greatness and perfection, they were honoured by the Almighty God to be the Ladies of the world’s women , and they are: Asiyah daughter of Muzahim Pharaoh’s wife, she was the Lady of her time’s women, Saint Mary daughter of ‘Imran, she was the Lady of her time’s women, Khadija Al-Kubra the wife of the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) and the fourth is Saint Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) daughter of the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) the Lady of all times’ women, from the first to the last in this world and the hereafter.

Her presence on the day of Resurrection:

In a Hadith narrated by Imam Ali (peace be upon him): The Messenger of Allah (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him) and his holy Household) has said: “My daughter Fatima will be wearing on the Day of Resurrection a suit of dignity that is made out of eternal water, so the creatures when they will see her they will be astonished, they she will be covered by a suit of paradise on which it is written with a green scripture: “Enter the daughter of Muhammad (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) to the paradise in the best and most complete image, the most complete dignity and the best of luck, so she will be entered to Paradise like a bride surrounded by seventy thousand maids.”

Abdullah Ibn Abbas narrated: I hear the Messenger of Allah (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) say: “Four of us will be the riders on the Day of Resurrection and none other.” So someone asked: “My father and mother be your ransom, who are the riders?” He said: “I will be riding al-Buraq (the animal that escorted the Prophet (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) during ‘isra & Mi’raaj), and my brother (Prophet) Saleh (peace be upon him) will be mounting the god-sent she-camel which was hamstrung by his people, and my daughter Fatima (peace be upon her) will be on my bright she-camel, and Ali Ibnu Abi Talib (peace be upon then), who will ride one of the she-camels of Paradise…”

The Messenger of Allah (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) said: “On the Day of Rising, a caller shall announce from beyond the veil: “O gathered people, lower your eyes so that Fatima, the Daughter of Muhammad, may pass.”.”

Her names are “Fatima”, “As-Siddiqa [The truthful]”, “Al-Mubaraka [The blessed one]”, “Al-Tahira [the pure one]”, “Al-Zakiyya [the chaste one]”, “Al-Radhiayya [the grateful one]”, “Al-Mardhiyya [the one who shall be pleased [on Judgement Day]”, “Al-Muhaddatha [the one, other than the Prophet, to whom an angel speaks]”, Al-Zahra [the splendid one]” and “Al-Batool [the pure virgin].”

For her unique and great position the holy Prophet (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) called her “the lady of all mankind’s women”, which is truly a great honour. She borne all kind of calamities, tribulations and injustice in the way of Allah the Almighty and in the path of Islam. She was one of the five members of “kisaa [the cloak]” to whom the Almighty has bestowed His mercy, and from whom He removed all kinds of uncleanliness and to purified you thoroughly. They are Fatima and her father, her husband and sons. The most prominent role of Lady Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) after the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) is the defence of the right of her husband Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and helping him to overcome the adversity, conspiracies and injustice.

Her complaint:

The holy Prophet (prayer and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) said: “My daughter Fatima will come of the day of resurrection with clothes stained by blood. She will then embrace the leg of the Throne, and say: “O (Allah), You are the Omnipotent and Just; pass the judgement between me and those who killed my son.” (The Prophet (prayer and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) added): “Then He shall judge on the favour of my daughter, by the Lord of Kaaba.”

In a narration of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), he said: my father told me that the Messenger of Allah (prayers and Allah’s peace be upon him and his holy Household) informed him about his killing and my killing, and that his grave will be close to my grave… and that Fatima will be complaining about what happened to her progeny from his Ummah, and that no one of those who have harmed her in her progeny shall enter to paradise.”

Imam Al-Baqer (peace be upon him) said:”I heard Jabir Ibn Abdullah Al-Ansari say: Allah’s Messenger said: “On the Day of Rising, My daughter, Fatima, shall arrive riding a female camel from among the camels of Paradise-to her right shall be seventy thousand angels and to her left shall also be seventy thousand angels; Gabriel will be holding its muzzle and calling with the loudest of voices: ‘Cast down your eyes so that Fatima Bint Muhammad may pass!”

“Then shall no prophet, messenger, truthful one, or martyr remain without casting their eyes down until Fatima passes… Then a call shall come from the side of Allah, the Exalted: My beloved one and the daughter of my beloved one; ask Us and you shall be given (whatever you wish), and intercede, your intercedence shall be accepted. By my Honour and Exaltation, the oppression of no oppressor shall pass My (judgement) today.

She (Fatima) will then say: “O Allah, My Master; My progeny, My Shiites (followers), the Shiites of my progeny, those who love me and those who love my progeny.”

She will then hear a call from Allah’s side, may His Name be exalted: “Where are Fatima’s progeny, her Shiites, those who love her, and those who love her progeny?” They will then come forward, surrounded by angels of mercy, and Fatima will lead them into Paradise.”
