SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) who said: Make firm the affairs of your religion, like the world lovers who make firm their worldly affairs; because signs and realities have been placed in the world which by them the unseen world, meaning the hereafter can be recognized. Therefore, recognize the hereafter by/through this world and do not look at this world except by consideration [1]. This narration indicates that this world is an example for the hereafter. Some affairs/matters can be noticed in this world which may lead the human being to recognize the hereafter.
For example if someone wants to remain healthy, must follow a certain way of life to achieve this. Without eating the right food, or not having enough exercise, or not breathing good quality air, body cannot be healthy. It is the same for the hereafter; if the human being wants to achieve the targets for the hereafter, must prepare the bases by repenting, performing Wajib deeds, avoiding Haram deeds. So, one must look carefully and with consideration to the affairs of this world and learn lessons from them in order to prepare for the hereafter.
