SHAFAQNA -Â Pro-Palestinian groups in Britain intend next Wednesday to organize a sit-in outside the headquarters of the government in London to protest the upcoming visit of Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu to the city.Â
Netanyahu is scheduled to meet on the ninth of September his British counterpart David Cameron at the cabinet headquarters.Â
The Palestinian Forum and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign in the country invited supporters to participate in the protest from 11 o’clock in the morning to one o’clock in the afternoon, during which Cameron is expected to hold talks with Netanyahu.Â
The organizers will provide the protestors with Palestinian flags, and banners denouncing the visit and calling for arresting Netanyahu as a war criminal.Â
Recently, more than 90,000 British citizens have signed a petition demanding the government to cancel the visit, but the latter rebuffed their request, claiming that Netanyahu has diplomatic immunity and thus his arrest is illegal under the British law.
