SHAFAQNA – In Ayah 53 of Surah Al-Nahl, it is mentioned that: “And you have no good thing but it is from Allah (SWT); and moreover, when you are touched by distress, unto God you cry with groans.” Imam Baqir (AS) pointed to the inverse relationship between wisdom and arrogance. Arrogance means to consider oneself, higher than others. The arrogant person thinks that if he/she has any achievement, it belongs to him/her; whilst the human being’s existence and all of his/her achievements are from God. So nothing belongs to the human being to boast about it; therefore, as this type of wrong thought is increased, to the same extent, the wisdom is decreased .
