Man confronts anti-Muslim protester in Ann Arbor with message of “Muhammad and Jesus = Love not hate.”

SHAFAQNA – According to” mlive ” reported that ” An anti-Muslim protester spent three days earlier this month demonstrating outside the Islamic Center of Ann Arbor on Plymouth Road. The woman’s sign read, “I serve a risen savior Jesus Christ. Muhammad is dead.” But that message was countered by congregation member Hamad Houwari, who responded with a sign reading: “Muhammad and Jesus = Love not hate.” After attracting attention from many passersby, the story was picked up by the Arab American News. And this past weekend, The Huffington Post called Houwari’s response “totally perfect.” “Hundreds of cars were stopping in support,” Houwari told The Arab American News. “Christians were telling her she doesn’t represent them.” Ann Arbor police said the woman, who hasn’t been identified, followed all the rules and there weren’t any problems.
