Microsoft’s Office Sway software integrated with Bing Image Search

SHAFAQNA – In a December 4-dated Office Blogs post, Microsoft’s Sway group has revealed that the company’s Office presentation app Sway now boasts integration with Bing Image Search.

The integration of Bing Image Search into Office Sway software comes as part of an update to Sway, which was launched in preview on October 1. Sway is a new Office product which facilitates the users in creation of sharable presentations for the Web, with the help of text, pictures, and videos.

The Sway presentations can be created by users from any device; from cramped-screen smartphones to big-display PCs.

The addition of Bing Image Search support to the Sway app gives the users the ability to search for images and add them to their Sway presentations from within the app. In addition, the Bing Image Search integration into the Sway app also brings an improvement to the app’s Suggested Source feature, which uses machine learning for showing up pertinent images based on the content that the users have added to a Sway presentation.

About the addition of Bing Image Search functionality into Sway, the Sway group said in the Office Blogs post that the move comes in response to the users’ requests “about wanting to be able to search for Creative Commons licensed images directly from the Internet.”
