Muslim World University Presidents Meet in Ankara

SHAFAQNA – The Turkish capital city of Ankara is hosting the fourth gathering of presidents of the Muslim world universities.

The Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW) has organized the meeting, underway in Ankara on Wednesday and Thursday, July 26-27.

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and Turkey’s Higher Education Council have cooperated in holding the event.

The gathering aims to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and interaction among Muslim world universities and higher education centers.

It is also a venue for exchanging experiences about enhancement of universities’ role in economic and social development in Muslim societies.
