Pakistan has become world’s 6th largest country by population. If population is not controlled, its population may exceed 340 million. According to media reports population council said in a statement that Pakistan’s population is rapidly increasing and its birth rate has reached to 1.95 percent. This rapid increase in population can lead to other issues like Food shortage, employment, Health, education and residential issues.
According to experts population increase can be reduced to 30% by family planning. Only 35% couples are using the facility of family planning.
