SHAFAQNA (International Shia News Association)-Hamas Movement said that Israel has re-imposed war on the Palestinians after failure of Cairo talks to reach a durable truce agreement.
Member of Hamas political bureau and member of Palestinian negotiation delegation Ezzat al-Resheq said on his Facebook page Wednesday that Israel re-imposed war on the Palestinians and Hamas Movement. “We have no choice but to be victorious,” he added.
The Palestinian delegation left Cairo at dawn Wednesday after failure of efforts to reach a durable ceasefire agreement in Gaza due to Israeli violation of the truce.
Meanwhile, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri stated that Israel will pay a heavy price for its crimes against the Palestinians and the Israelis will return to their homes only by the decision of the commander of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, Mohammed Deif.
The residents of the Gaza periphery will return to their homes only at the decision of Deif and only after an Israeli commitment to stop the aggression and lift the siege, he added.
Israeli warplanes targeted late Tuesday Dalou family’s home where 14 Palestinians were killed including Deif’s wife and child.
Meanwhile, Israeli media sources revealed that an Israeli delegation led by Eyal Danino, political adviser at the Israeli embassy in Cairo, landed in the Egyptian capital on Wednesday to discuss the possibility of restoring calm.
The delegation included four political figures, the sources added.
