Presstv/Donald Trump calls Obama ‘psycho’ over Ebola crisis

SHAFAQNA (International Shia News Association) – American billionaire Donald Trump has strongly criticized President Barack Obama for his handling of the Ebola crisis, questioning his mental state.

In a tweet on Thursday, the New York businessman said that there is “something seriously wrong with President Obama’s mental health.”

Trump also called Obama a “psycho” for refusing to restrict commercial flights from Ebola-stricken countries in West Africa.

He also argued that the crisis is more proof of Obama’s incompetence that could ultimately hurt Democrats at the midterm elections next month.

“Nobody can understand it. He’s either stubborn, incompetent, not smart, listening to the wrong people. Nobody can understand it,” he said in an interview with The Daily Caller.

“It shows in one sense that Obama continues to be incompetent. Because he’s not stopping the flights to and from West Africa, which are the hotspots…It is just madness,” Trump added.

After a meeting with members of his Ebola response team on Thursday, Obama said a travel ban from West African countries would not be effective against the spread of the deadly disease.

“I don’t have a philosophical objection necessarily to a travel ban if that is the thing that is going to keep Americans safe,” Obama said. “The problem is in all the discussions I’ve had those far with experts in the field…is that a travel ban is less effective than the measures that we are currently instituting.”

On Wednesday, House Speaker John Boehner called on Obama to “absolutely consider” travel ban on passengers coming to the United States from West African countries.
