SHAFAQNA – Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim, Head of Iraq’s National Alliance, issued a statement on Tuesday, November 29, on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (a.s) demise anniversary and urged Iraqis to strengthen their unity in order to help reconstruct their country.

He added, “I would like to express my heartiest condolences to Imam al-Asr (a.s) and the Islamic Ummah on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s demise anniversary,”

“This religious occasion provides an opportunity for the Iraqi people to ponder upon the importance of national unity and solidarity, to realize that we all have a part to play in order to reconstruct the country of Iraq and to know that we’re expected to confront all the Islam’s enemies decisively; we pray to Allah almighty to bestow upon our nation as well as all the other nations of the world the blessing of security and to protect our soldiers in the battles against terrorists until all the Iraqi territories are retaken from our enemies,” he concluded.
