What is the reward for those who are well known for their charitable work?

SHAFAQNA – Abu Hashim Ja’afari narrated: I was with Imam Hassan Askari (AS) and heard Imam (AS) who said: There is a gate/door in paradise called “Ma’aroof” (known as, famous) which apart from People of Ma’aroof, benefactors and those who carry charitable work, no one else can enter. I thanked God in my heart and I was very happy that I could do something to help some people. At this time, Imam (AS) looked at me and said: Yes, keep up the same work, because the people of Ma’aroof are those who do good deeds in this world, and in the hereafter they are also people of good deeds and forgiveness. I pray that God considers you as one of them and grants you Divine Mercy, O’ Abu Hashim [1].
