What is the ruling for going to Wajib Hajj pilgrimage in spite of knowing about the probable dangers? The Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s answer

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about going to Wajib Hajj pilgrimage despite probable dangers.

Question: What is the ruling for going to Wajib Hajj pilgrimage in spite of knowing about the probable dangers, and considering the events of Mina disaster?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: Performing Hajj is Wajib for those who are qualified to do so, unless there is logical reason for the person to consider it probable that it causes harm to him/her, in a way that he/she is scared (to go to Hajj); which in this case, as long as the fear exists in him/her, Hajj is not Wajib for him/her.
