SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei answered a question about wearing gold watches and glasses by men.
Question: Is it allowed to buy and sell gold watches and glasses for men (to be worn by men)?
The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei: Wearing gold watch on the wrist is Haram for men, and based on Wajib precaution performing Salaat is void (Batel) whilst wearing it; and the Wajib precaution is to avoid wearing gold glasses as well.
